Tecno camon cm vs leagoo kiicaa power-specs features price

Tecno released the camon cm last month which succeeded the camon cx. Though it was Tecno’s latest and greatest in the camon series, it had lot of controversies to it’s price tag. The camon cm was launched with a price tag of 47,000 naira, which when compared with other smartphones featuring the same specs makes the camon cm a bit expensive for the price.

In this article I am going to be doing a comparison between the tecno camon cm and the leagoo kiicaa power to further butress the point that the tecno camon cm is a bit expensive for the hardware specifications it features.

The tecno camon cm presently costs 45,000 naira while the leagoo kiicaa power 21,000 naira.

The camon CM has an all metal build with visible antenna bands. The camon CM features a smooth back and round edges it’s predecessor the camon CX has.
The camon CM is about 7.75 mm thick.

The fingerprint reader is located at the back just below the camera on the right side.

Leagoo kiicaa power

The kiicaa power features a plastic build. there are no visible antenna bands here because it features a plastic build.

The fingerprint reader is located at the back under it’s rear dual camera system.

Verdict: The camon CM features a more modern smartphone build with it’s metal build.

Camon CM:

The camon CM features a 5.7 inch IPS HD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Kiicaa power

The kiicaa power has a 5.0 inch IPS HD display protected by asashi glass.

Verdict: though both smartphones feature IPS HD displays, the fact the camon CM features a bigger 5.7 inch display and with an aspect ratio of 18:9 gives it an edge over the kiicaa power, making it the winner of the display comparison.

Camera

Camon CM:

The camon CM features a 13mp rear facing camera with autofocus, quad flash.
It also features a 13mp front facing camera with flash.

Kiicaa power

The kiicaa power features a dual camera system with an 8mp primary camera and a 5mp secondary camera.
It also features a 5mp selfie camera 📷.

Verdict: being Tecno’s alleged flagship for camera smartphone, featuring a dual camera system wouldn’t have been a bad idea at all. The kiicaa power features a dual camera system unlike the camon cm. Where the camon cm begins to flex it’s muscles is in the camera sensor size.

Though dual cameras on a budget smartphone is a welcome development, improved camera sensors is actually preferred in this case.

Verdict: both smartphones have an edge over each other with a single hardware feature.

The camon cm features 4G network meanwhile the kiicaa power doesn’t.
Where the camon cm features 3000mah battery, the kiicaa power Features a 4000mah battery.

Winner: it’s a tie

Final verdict: The camon cm won all the categories of camparison except for the hardware specs category which most tech enthusiast make reference to. The fact here is the rest aspect of the camon cm actually contributes to making the camon cm a solid phone. But if you are in search of a budget smartphone that could stand in the place of the camon cm, the kiicaa power could actually do the job without reminding you much about the camon cm.
