How to get Nigcomsat Channels
The requirements to get NigcomSat channels include:
- A universal decoder
- A satellite dish of 60cm or larger.
In the Universal decoder (either Strong or DigiSat) you’d need to set the following parameters
Frequency: 12518 MHz
Symbol Rate: 29500 MHz
Polarization: Horizontal
When mounting your Satellite Dish, the dish should point it to 42.5°E. This would provide a full TV signal.
Note: 42.5°E is a little below the DSTV position.
After setting the parameters on your universal decoder and mounting your satellite dish the next thing you’d need to do is to perform a scan.
